What this product is for:
This lead, E. coli and arsenic water test kit is a 3-test contaminant bundle for households that want to focus on those three checks rather than run the full 13-test screen. It is useful where older plumbing, private-supply bacteria risk and groundwater/geology questions are the main concerns.
 
What it tests:
Lead contamination at low levels in water samples: testing range 0-15ppb, minimum detection 0-4ppb.
E. coli/coliform bacteria contamination at low levels in water samples: minimum detection 0-1cfu.
Arsenic contamination at low levels in water samples: testing range 0-300ppb, minimum detection 0-10ppb.
Each kit contains 1x Lead test, 1x E. coli bacteria test and 1x Arsenic test, 3 tests total.
 
The UK standard:
Lead: 10 µg/l at the tap. The World Health Organization says: “There is no level of exposure to lead that is known to be without harmful effects.”
E. coli: 0 per 100 ml, none should be found.
Arsenic: 10 µg/l.
 
Best for:
A focused contaminant check where lead, bacteria and arsenic are the priority.
Private supplies where bacteria and groundwater context matter.
Older properties where lead plumbing is also a concern.
Users who do not need chlorine or fluoride checks.
 
How to use:
Follow the kit instructions and use the recommended sample point. For most drinking-water checks, the cold kitchen tap is the practical starting point unless the instructions or your situation require a different sample. Record the sample date, tap, source and any recent plumbing, taste, smell or supply changes.
 
What the result can and cannot tell you:
This is a home screening result for the sample tested at that time. It does not prove future safety, replace official mains-water investigation, or provide accredited laboratory confirmation.
 
What to do next:
If one result is surprising, use the Result Interpretation Centre and decide whether to retest the same contaminant, confirm through a laboratory route, or move to a broader complete screen.
